Amy Palmer is a multiple-Emmy-Nominated TV Host, Journalist, Executive Producer & Media Entrepreneur.
Amy is the Founder and CEO of PowerwomenTV.com, a woman’s lifestyle network launching in Spring 2013. Programming initially will be seen in NYC cabs and on-line through various syndication partners. Amy is also the Founder and CEO of Tycooness Entertainment Group, a Manhattan-based media company that reaches women worldwide through targeted programming on multi-platform venues. Tycooness produces web-based programming, reality shows and broadcast television properties. The company also creates video and social-media campaigns.
Amy can also be seen on national and local television as a reporter and contributor. She frequently appears on CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, Headline News, A & E, Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell, Showbiz Tonight, CBS Early Show, The Today Show, FOX, ABC News Now, Extra, MTV, The Insider, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition and New York Live.
Before her on-air career, Amy was a producer at various networks including MTV, VH1 and MSNBC. She was a producer on various MTV & VH1 programs that included: Daria, TRL, The MTV Beach House, multiple VH1 programs and more. She has been nominated for several Emmy’s for producing, creating and hosting New York 360, a local entertainment program that aired on NBC New York and NYCTV for several seasons.

Amy graduated from Boston University’s College of Communication with a bachelors degree in Mass Communication. She lives in New York City.
